Alumni Weekend Housing Guidelines
The cost of housing for Alumni Weekend is a one-time, per bed, cost for the weekend of $85. The fee covers Thursday night (check in no earlier than 4 p.m.) through Sunday afternoon (checkout time no later than 12 p.m.) Any registrants wishing to arrive earlier than Thursday at 4 p.m. or to stay after noon on Sunday should contact the Alumni Office by May 31 to coordinate housing and additional payment. There are no guarantees for housing outside the Thursday to Sunday timeframe, so contact us as soon as possible!
Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served, basis. Exceptions are made to accommodate guests with special needs and to maximize the number of alumni we can house. We cannot guarantee that requests for specific housing or roommates will be met.
Tips for reserving specific rooms:
1. Register early! The college will take roommate/apartment requests through registration and will do our best to accommodate them, but early registration by all members of the group is the best way to ensure your requests.
2. Everyone in your group has to register and pay for a bed before the group is assigned a room.
3. Room/apartment assignments are not final until Alumni Weekend.
Registrants for housing for Alumni Weekend must register for an individual bed for each person staying in college housing. To comply with fire codes for our buildings, the number of occupants in each residential space cannot exceed the number of beds within it. Portable cribs or pack-n-play type beds for children are permitted, though not provided, in college housing.
All linens provided for the weekend are property of the College. All towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, etc should remain in rooms following the weekend. Guests will be charged for any linens not returned.
Group Residence Hall Reservations
Alumni groups may request to be housed together in a specific residence hall. These requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served, basis subject to the general housing limitations set forth in the Reserving Rooms section above. We cannot guarantee being able to accommodate all group requests based on the number of requests and limited housing stock. The College reserves the right to refuse group housing to groups or individuals who have caused damage or disrupted other weekend attendees in the past.
Housing is provided to alumni and their guests in clean condition and good repair. As good stewards of your alma mater, we expect that it will be returned to the College in the same condition, normal wear and tear excepted. If the housing you are provided is damaged or excessively dirty, all occupants registered for the space will be financially responsible for the costs to repair and/or clean the housing provided.
