General Information

Recommended dress for Friday night’s Celebration Reception and dinner and the Saturday Reunion Class Dinners is dressy casual attire. Dress for the remainder of the weekend’s events is casual.

All rooms must be vacated by noon on Sunday, and keys must be returned to the Waidner-Spahr Library Welcome Center before you leave campus or your room key deposit will be forfeited. All linens must remain in the rooms upon checkout. Guests will be charged for any missing linens.

Computer Access
Public computers are available in the Holland Union Building and the Waidner-Spahr Library. Information about accessing our wireless network will be available at the Welcome Center.

Emergency Information
If an emergency arises, family and friends may contact the Department of Public Safety at 717-245-1349. They are open 24 hours a day. To assist them in locating you, make sure they know with which class you are associated. The public-safety office is in Kaufman Hall on the corner of W. Louther and Cherry streets. There also are blue-light telephones located around campus that give you direct access to public safety, and a flashing light will alert others to your location.

Golden Alumni
Alumni who graduated before 1964 are members of our “Golden Alumni” classes. Members of this group are guests of the college at the luncheon on Saturday. Reserved parking for Golden Alumni is in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium Parking Lot, with parking passes available at the Welcome Center.

Green Initiative - Bring Your Own Water Bottle
Help us reduce the amount of plastic on campus during this busy weekend by bringing a water bottle with you! As part of our ongoing sustainability efforts, we have asked Dining Services to eliminate single use water bottles. Water will be available throughout the weekend in several locations, and all of our water fountains offer filtered water so you may fill your own reusable bottle.

Reconnect with classmates when you return to campus by finding your assigned Class Lounge on campus. Lounge locations will be posted on class web pages and are, whenever possible, in the same location as your class' assigned on-campus housing.

Off-campus Housing
For those who prefer a bit more luxury or privacy than our on-campus housing provides, you may choose to stay in a nearby hotel. A list of area hotels is available at, or call the Office of Alumni & Parent Engagement at 717-245-1373.

On-campus Housing
Dorm rooms are functional but offer minimal amenities. Bed linens, towels, washcloths, pillows and blankets are provided for each paying guest, but they are not replenished daily. All provided linens must remain in the room following check out. Guests will be charged for any missing linens. If you desire other amenities such as lamps, nightlights and clothes hangers, please bring them with you. The cost of housing is per bed for the weekend. Beds are single-sized dorm beds, and cannot be assigned to more than one registration of the weekend. Each registrant should register for their own bed. Shared bathrooms will be designated for men and women. We will guarantee rooms on campus for alumni who preregister. Housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a $100 key deposit collected at registration. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover will be accepted. Please note that checkout time is noon on Sunday. All rooms must be vacated by this time and keys must be returned to the Waidner-Spahr Library Welcome Center before you leave campus in order to have your key deposit returned. If you will be arriving after 8 p.m. on Thursday night, after 10 p.m. on Friday night or after 7 p.m. on Saturday night, please call the Office of Alumni & Parent Engagement ahead of time so special arrangements can be made. Please note that there are no telephones in the residence halls. In the case of an emergency, the Department of Public Safety is open 24 hours a day and can be reached at 717-245-1349. For more information, please see our Housing Guidelines here.

The Kline Center and Fitness Center will be open throughout the weekend. Racquetball, squash and tennis courts may be reserved upon arrival to campus.
